CELEBRITY CATERING
We haven’t even mentioned the food yet – we don’t offer your typical catering menu. Our creative and inspired menu was designed by Chef Jehangir Mehta, famous for his appearances on the Food Network as well as for his own restaurants Mehataphor and Grafitti in Manhattan. And, our experienced and attentive staff will ensure that your event is a success.
SPECIALTY COCKTAILS
Our varied and original cocktail menu rotates seasonally and all our drinks are made strictly with the freshest ingredients and finest liquors. Milos Zica, our master mixologist and principal bartender at New York’s Employees Only, created this exciting menu. If alcohol isn’t your thing, never fear, Zica also offers a ‘mocktail’ menu.
CORPORATE MEETINGS & GROUPS AT NU HOTEL
For meetings of up to ten people, we can transform a Brooklyn hotel guestroom into a sunny boardroom with a touch of whimsy – ever have a hammock in your meeting? It heightens creativity! Our amazing kitchen offers catered breakfast and lunch options as well as coffee breaks for your group, served en suite. If your group is larger (up to 200 people), we have some wonderful venues in the neighborhood that we’ve partnered with to provide sleeping accommodations at NU along with meeting venues located nearby in Downtown Brooklyn. Get out for a brief walk to enjoy the neighborhood, rather than being trapped in a conference center all day, truly gives your meeting participants a breath of fresh air!

Once your meeting day is through, return to our new bar and lounge Misdemeanor for a catered cocktail reception for your group or just cocktails and tapas for yourself! With our sidewalk café available in the warm months, there are so many places hang out and mingle – Misdemeanor is the perfect place for networking events, group welcome cocktails, corporate/ incentive happy hours, readings, listening parties and more! From cocktail only affairs to passed hors d’oeuvres or buffet style parties, our versatile lobby lounge is intimate enough to be comfortable for groups as small as seven, but large enough to accommodate parties of up to 75!
